No luck for me. Just telling me an error, most likely I didn't select a server or a player (both which I did)
Dare I assume you still need the net 2.0 update for this? I tried running it in its own directory, and straight from the NWN directory.
Other feedback... it would be nice if the player selection stayed in memory, so that you wouldn't have to select both server and player each time you tried to load.

Noted bug, if you dont' have the "default" install it will not like you when you go to file > program options. This is being looked at
It does keep your last known information in the status bar below, but I'll look into the selection.
Yes, this requires .net 3.5

This seems to only work if you have NWN installed in it's default directory, or maybe it scans the registry for the install folder, which i dont have because i never "installed" it on this machine, it runs from in just a copied folder, so it maybe it's just using default. Anyway, when i try open the options panel, it says it cant find the ini, because its looking in the default directory, and i cant change that because i cant open the option panel. it also errors out when i try to start the game from it, i assume thats because its also trying to launch it from the same place.

Another possibility is that it's looking for a registry entry. There's information about how to manually add a registry entry for NWN in the ARF2 thread (if I recall correctly).

After I installed it, I tried changing the Program Settings but got an error.
I had to add [Config] LOGS=.\logs
to the bottom of nwn.ini before it would act right.

So... Likely waaaay dead thread, but... I'm on Windows 10... Keeps calling for .Net 3.5, but 3.5 is built into Win 10 (according to the 3.5 installer) so not sure what's up with that. As well, my copy of NWN is not 'installed' per se, just a folder on a drive I plugged into this computer. So, my directory is D:\NeverwinterNights
In any case, if anyone knows the registry edits required to make Win 10 recognize my install location... I'd be grateful. More grateful if someone can get this loader to install on a Win10 machine (get around the 3.5 check)

Here is a registry hack that installs the settings necessary for ARF2 to pick up the 1.69 patch. I use it whenever I copy NWN to a new computer and I don't want to bother doing an install. Just copy the nwn files into C:\neverwinternights\nwn, run the NWN.reg and make a shortcut for nwmain.exe on the desktop and you're good to go.
Been using it for years and the only time I have a problem is when I put the files in a folder other than the default (C:\neverwinternights\nwn)
Here is the text in the file for the curious(when I made the hack I left out the machine-specific registry entries but it is still just as effective and doesn't require editing this way)
Name the file nwn.reg and run it from anywhere(I keep it in the nwn folder for convenience sake)
