Well after seeing that thread in the drunken monk tavern about asmodeus dying again, and having all the subraces listed (I'm sure that may have in part been prompted by this thread), I thought I should finish my interrupted earlier message. Ironically none of the builds listed for asmodeus were rogue builds.
Many builds have good base saves, with my tin can I even had feats to spare (decided with an exotic weapon and improved crit in a 2nd weapon for versatility) even after getting hellsworthy saves.
Rogues on the other hand have lousy base saves, as dexers need to put effort into doing even reasonable damage (the crit changes didn't help here as they were entirely in favor of strength builds), and need to put feats into being defensive beyond Great Dexterities (unlike assassins, monks and shadowdancers for instance).
For rogues to become mainstream hells characters, they need to fix their saves without costing offense or defense (or requiring BURRs). One solution might be a quasi-class that allows a better pre-20 saves combo while giving a damage option other than WM (the Lash comes to mind as an example for the latter), and for this I'm waiting on the ninja with great anticipation.
Until then however successful rogues in hell will be limited to BURRs, succors and possibly good players in great gear who know when to tuck tail and run.

You'll also notice they had a party of nine, I'm betting they dragged a rogue (like the first time).
