This is kind of a moan more than a compliant... but with one player hogging server 111 with 146 items with the limit being now restricted to 200 items .... Think it would be fair to others trying to sell items to bring back some limits on an individual placing items on the fixed price market on any given server ... It used to be 10 I believe I'd like to suggest this being a limit of 25 per server....
First it gives others a chance to place some items in the popular server 111, and may spread the items out once again across the 2xx servers...

I agree, it's getting ridiculous.
A item limit would make people think twice about what they're selling too, at the moment Bad is dumping every sort of junk that's usually mass sold.

Is the chest full or what is the problem?

Use webdash.
We need offer to tone the prices down (and perhaps the mentioned player should charge less)
Maybe deletion time of sold good could be proportional to how many item you have for sell (i.e. -1 day per 5 items in the chest).

[Edit] Back in place in the next hotpatch, the old limit of 10 per person. The older limit of 5 per person was still listed on the sign...seriously halfassed. Funky

The market is not used by that many sellers. Maybe try a limit of 20 per person? Edit: Or 25 as suggested?

The market is not used by many sellers because there's no room for them, 10 items/player worked quite good in past.

With the 10 limit, I saw usually something like 50-100 items. With Funky around, we could imho try 25 and he adjust it fast if that not working.

Good news for all of those who posted above, the "Black Market" is now closed and will stop selling the items needed by newer and intermediate players to progress on HG.
All Items have been removed.
To share with you all a bit of perspective:
Most mornings I would log on and get thanked by new and intermediate players for selling them the items that they needed to progress on HG at reasonable prices. I would also get hit up by vets, for those hard to come by items they needed as well.
I was not dumping junk, as junk does not sell in those chests (Sapphire should know this from experience). And I think that we all know that nothing is ever Leet enough for Raj, who just wants all of us to know how great he really is.
All the Best,
BM

I didn't realize people loved you so much! There was only one other ostentatious guy flooding the market as much as you use to, but hey at least he was putting interesting haxed things in it, not things that are left for mass selling even by the worst packrats arounds.

I was not being critical, I was just stating that I thought over 70% of available space in the fixed price chest was too much... Your right however that over 90% of the stuff you placed there is NOT junk.. It was just did not allow others to share in the popular server for selling items... Hardly anyone ever these days tries selling on any of the 2xx servers simply because there is less chance of a sale there...
I believe the 200 limit was brought in to help save on server resources and maybe cut some lag issues which is commendable... I am however disappointed you have chosen as a result of this to remove all your items, instead of spreading them across the other 6 available servers 119 through 215... Given if as Funk has indicated the individual player limit is going to 20 per server you can still have 140 items for sale. Even though it is a little more hassle to do so hopping from server to server..
I also sell stuff for the same type of players and I too get thanked for making such available, even when I offer up telegems at half the price the merchants sell them for.. Because my various characters sometimes find themselves with too many... I just hope these changes make usage now of the other available server's fixed priced chests

111 is popular for 2 reasons, really: - It's not particularly easy to see which server an item is on with the current web listing.
- People are too lazy to hop among all the servers looking for items.
#1 above can be fixed by separating out the market data in the listing per-server. In order to alleviate #2, more info needs to be made available in/to the market listing: In particular, iteminfo output needs to be available. I'm not sure how feasible that is. Honestly, I think the best solution long-term would be to implement this, but that's gonna take a lot of work, so it won't happen for a long while, if at all, apparently. --Arek P.S. I'm sad to see the Black Market closed.
