I think a cap is good because allowing 1 person to dominate the markets total capacity cap is even worse than limiting each users inside the total cap besides many players such as the one that is pulling out in fact have a multitude of accounts making the player cap less of an issue for them

As to the shield, you can have it back if you like. You're right, I had been yelling for it for days since I wanted one that was better than what I had (it wasn't, btw). Of course, if you want to go that route, you should also mention that I tried to find ANYTHING I had to offer in exchange that you might want including various LL or Hells weapons you wanted in exchange for an epic level shield. Shield returned to Bad.

Let's go a step further, anyone who is auctioning off any set loot is taking advantage of other players! Cha Arties for 4 bill is stealing. Needs more regulation. 5% Tax on all sales. In all seriousness, the SoR probably aren't directed towards new players as other people mentioned. End game runs are pretty fast in a party and can give like 300 million. Farming 5-10 SoR can be pretty time consuming and boring in and of itself. If you don't like it, don't buy it

This will probably be deleted as trolling, but don't you think it is rather trite to cheap shot after I have been told to keep on topic at the risk of having my posts deleted?

I think you need to stop reading posts so personally. Laser was making a valid point, whether you agree with it or not. And no, I won't delete this, but I will any further posts in this vein. Sorry if that comes off hard-assed, but I have little enough time to devote to development as it is, without blowing 30+ minutes as forum mod. If you want to debate the substance of his post, instead of insinuating that he's making a personal attack against you, go right ahead - but I suggest you take a break after writing your post, and try reading it a few minutes later, to see how it sounds. Maybe add a kiosk and some sneaky salesman npc there. Are you talking about the stranger named Knight Errant Darkest Knight who always stands there? He's obviously up to no good. I was thinking of a kiosk with a slightly less menacing figure than that. Perhaps a cage for the Knight fellow would be another good addition.

You've no doubt accrued lots of information during your time here, and are free to do with it as you like (so long as you spoiler-block it if you're posting it on the forums). Funky Is there some post or thread on how to "spoiler-block"? I am familiar with what you are talking about, but do not know how to perform that activity.

This information is spoiler-blocked Click the quote button on this post to see how I did it. It's just putting {spoiler}text{/spoiler} around secret-type information, but with square brackets [] instead of braces {}. Funky

Okay seems things are getting out of control again not to the extent of my original post ... Not sure if "Bad" is using a new name, seems people are not going to stick to 20 items less it is imposed by scripting...
Another issue is someone remaining nameless here is trying to sell a sturdy rope for over 12 million, this item should be removed from the market...

I agree, that's just plain ridiculous!
How dare they cut me under like that--offering 12 when they know full well that the going rate is 20!
I barely break even when I sell a rope for 15, and he's doing it for 12! There's something fishy going on here for sure.

Another issue is someone remaining nameless here is trying to sell a sturdy rope for over 12 million, this item should be removed from the market... First, no one is expected to adhere to any non-coded limit - take a look at the book you get fresh off the boat in the docks to see why. Per my discussion with him, Bad is going to (or has, I haven't looked) put in 50 items, which is what I'm planning to peg the new limit at provisionally. If it fills up again to the point that people can't sell what they like, then I'll lower it. As to the rope, unless you have a suggestion as to how to avoid what you perceive as trickery, there's not much discussion to be had. Funky

If you are scared you might misclick something and buy something that you perceive is overpriced, deposit all money into your wallet and only withdraw the exact amount needed when you find something you want to buy.

It was suggested that maybe there a helpful addition could be a 2nd chest: one for that endless lowbie garbage, and one for stuff that (surprise) doesn't come from drow or rip's basement? This way you can still sell whatever you want but I don't have to scroll past immo books and sealbreakers in search of something legit?
All joking aside, it really would be nice to have one chest for mutually agreeable "higher tier" loots such as BURs and hells/abyss/abo/ely drops. This both opens up more room for crappy lowbie stuff which evidently someone may yet buy--and if they are buying it, then that chest could probably have like 500 pages and be worth looking at--and opens up more room/less clicking for the "good stuff" chest.
edit: I doubt this is doable but just saying...if there was any other way...having multiple chests could go a long way toward sidestepping issues of having too much stuff in the chest?

I don't have any easy solution to the issue regarding the sturdy rope, well none that would not involve a great deal of work better spent on other issues and development of the game here. The only suggestion I could reasonably put forward is for a DM once a week to look on the chest and remove such items.
Personally I would love to see such actions be reversed onto the seller ... so that 12 million+ or what ever stupid price is put on such an item as the sturdy rope, the item is first removed from the chest and the seller loses that silly price removed from his/her wallet as a penalty... But that is too much work to implement and no doubt would cause outrage from some quarters of the player base... Not to forget that this could also be manipulated into a rounding error if said seller had less than that in their wallet...
