I just checking if you used an ability or had a bow equipped as I can see abilities bringing you too close into range. I also don't know if you spawn in GS then pull back and pull as I think usually they are spawned in smaller groups and just using a bow to draw in 1 at a time. Typically the bow user is a Zen archer though insta killing many before they are pulled in all the way. Well, I definitely spawned while in GS, and I moved pixel by pixel, to try to spawn smaller numbers, but they all spawned at once . . . The first time you aggro them they run about 10 over, but after that bunch its normally in 1s or 2s when you pull via arrow. Stay as far away as you can from them while still being able to target them with ranged and only a couple will come over each shot.

That first run of 10 or so had four inflictors and the rest were casters. So much lightning spammed that I could not beat them down fast enough. Now that I have the Silver Dragon strategy, I might try again (I am still not used to having a Dragon form! :-D ) Oof, but I think it will have to be some time later. I am so beaten down from the last attempt. I think I took so long that the spawn trigger for mobs outside the glade reset and that the spawn trigger for outside mobs extends into the central glade. Thus, while hiding away from the central mobs, I spawned mobs outside and doing so prevented me from activating the artifact pedestal. :_(

I've done Rona a load of times recently, there are usually 3 groups that spawn in the boss area assuming you move carefully, as mentioned by boroie each of these three groups has an initial set of tanks and a caster that run to you the first time they are attacked. As I'm always leading with a Zen I pick off the caster first, although any additional HP charging it does is irrelevant for me as a well placed arrow in the face deals with them no matter how many temp HPs they may have. I have never been slow enough to experience respawns in this zone and the portal is designed to be one way in although you can obviously go back to the top and then jump down to the floor although chances of respawns are almost guaranteed if you can't clear them fast. It is entirely possible that having duplicate artifact keys in your inventory might cause issues although I can't imagine why you would do this as for this run you either complete it and use the key (meat) or don't in which case you're going to have to kill the meat dropper again.

Thanks for the advice and strategy. I don't have archer insta kill, but forgot about stoning. I might try that on the tanks. Disarm also makes them harmless.
Yeah, respawns within the glade are guaranteed if I am not careful, but there were no mobs left in the glade! I reall think that I spawned some outside.

Okay. I admit the the lack of concentration is a bit of a pain when soloing and I forget to send out the black blade of disaster.
Discipline is not as much of an issue. I’ve been pretty good at avoiding the need. Maybe I will swap them in my next life.

Solo’ed Trag shackled to level 51. (Not that tragidore needs the other rogue skills. :-D )
Held up decently in Ness, although definitely not front line material any more. When Zerg rushed, he would eventually be killed and, when resurrected without buffs but surrounded by mobs, he would quickly die again.
Instead, he needs to GS as Vampire more. Stone, death, gas, paralyze from the edges of the soup rather than inside, or snipe with neg, cold, acid, magic from the back row.
He actually did a decent job disarming from the edges. He managed to defang every PF, Malbranche and Cornugon in the first Asmo wave.
