Yup, you could do that either that way or with a widget that let them target anything that had a check to see of targets master was the calling pc. My players already do this with their familiars, though, simply by hotkeying the possess and unpossess commands. Funky

Been using the SIMTools quite a bit, and wanted to put in a couple more requests (from DMs and players):
Players: - More emotes, such as smoke, etc. found in the expanded DMFI emotes. I can post their code here if that helps. - Perhaps a player useable chat command to teleport to a WP located in an "OOC" area, with a 10-second delay and cutscene immob to prevent exploitation.
DMs: -Set Weather effects command for the area the DM is in. -Set Music, perhaps? a "dm_music #" command. With a dm_music restore feature, probably. -Set CR of a creature (if possible), with dm_cr # command. -Set the faction of a creature (if possible). (This last is just a shortcut from the console commands) -Set name of creature, perhaps?
So far the features are being used to excellent effect. This is by far the best "utility script" on the Vault, and I've been telling people to incorporate it whenever I can.

This may be simple to add, but as a DM on as PC, it is very handy to reward XP to characters now and again. So in fky_chat_inc under /*g*/ section, I placed under getbanlist the dm_givexp command, which my team found useful:
else if (GetStringLeft(sDMText, 7) == "givexp ") { sDMText = GetStringRight(sDMText, GetStringLength(sDMText) - 7); GiveXPToCreature(oDMTarget, StringToInt(sDMText)); SendMessageToPC(oDMPC, "<cþ<<>You have awarded " + IntToString(StringToInt(sDMText)) + " XP to " + GetName(oDMTarget) + "!</c>"); } An excellent job on this set of scripts, it has enabled our staff to be more versatile than ever before. Oh, and yes, I have voted on the vault! Cheers!

Nice suggestion, I'll definitely add it to the next version. Thanks for the vote! Funky

I imagine this idea would lag the server terribly but could you create !report so you could see your damage output over time for say the last 1-5 minutes as a summary?

The game has a combat log for a reason.

Yeah, that just doesn't strike me as very useful for what it'd take to do it. Funky

In the emotes I would like to see attack poses if possible???
I.E. AA with Bow Drawn back maybe. Stuff along those lines. Slasher with sword in attack mode hope you get the idea.

Can't be done. They're a hardcoded part of the combat engine. Thanks for the idea though! Funky

I imagine this idea would lag the server terribly but could you create !report so you could see your damage output over time for say the last 1-5 minutes as a summary? If you really wanted an Idea of what your damage matrix is like you can PM me you base character stats and weapon of choice you will be using (weapon stats also) and I can build you a basic Matrix to show min/Max damage potentials for your character. Its kinda a hobby of mine. The breakdown goes by Min per attack and per battle round/Full attack action to maximums possible with the luckiest hits you can get (ie all crits) and all basics in between (with/without sneaks With woith out power attack stuff like that)

The problem with such models is that they don't reflect major differences caused by damage resistances, immunities, and the prevalaence of crit immune critters. In any event, please stick to SIMTools feature suggestions in this thread. Funky

Is there ability score rolling in the system that I am somehow missing? If not, what about adding that? It would be similar to the current skill rolling...you could give a DC and all that...

From another thread: Another idea is to make custom SIMTools commands for the staffmaster damage selection, could do away with the WOTS token entirely. Though I have no idea how much work that would entail for Funky, so may be no good. !smfire !smcold !smpos etc. Theres thinking with your noodle on! If that flies, what would it take to get other commands set to that stile? !smitetime - You have 3:23 left on your Great Smite timer. I hate flashing blue because some time the effect appears to drop out for minutes at a time (during a battle) and it totally screws up my mental rhythm with the smite timer. Plus it's just one more graphic effect that doesn't mean much. Is there a listing somewhere that I'm missing of the SIMTools based commands?

Nothing specific to HG will be added to the chat commands in the foreseeable future, as they'd have to be redone when a newer version was imported. Funky
