when you say it auto starts minimized you mean windowed or do you actually mean minimized to the system task bar?

I've had exactly the same thing happen a couple of times and in my case it was minimised to the task bar or nothing which is not that useful. Reinstall was the only solution I could find and I don't know what caused it to break.

this is awesome just got it installed and all updated. Vich thanks for the win 7 64bit reg help.
-However one issue, if you change the account that you are logging in with, it doesn't work until you launch the game again from arf2. This makes it pretty hard to get in quickly on the right account for a tia. Is there any way to fix this to that you can choose the acct properly when you launch it?

Is it possible to add an option to designate the NWN executable? This way people using HGX can just configure it in ARF2 and still use ARF2!

I'm sure it could be added. I looked at the source, but that language looks really strange even if you're familiar with countless other languages.
Keep in mind you can start HGX *after* starting NWN and it will still work. HGX checks if NWN is running and uses that instance if it is or starts NWN if is isn't running already.

when you say it auto starts minimized you mean windowed or do you actually mean minimized to the system task bar? I just had the same problem today. It was working wonderfully yesterday, and now it loads in the Task Bar I cannot get the window out of the Task Bar. Oddly enough, right clicking the Task Bar icon and clicking close brings up the standard " Really Exit ? " message.... I don't want to have to reinstall this all the time, so I might just get a direct connect shortcut for the mean time.

I tried to run ARF2, and it updated and was restarting a second time when the following message popped up:
old-arf2.exe
Error: Failed attempt to launch program or document: Action: <arf2.exe> Params: <>
The current thread will exit.
Specifically: Access is denied.
Line# ---> 885: Run, substr (a_scriptname,5)
Any help is appreciated.

I'm sure it (launching Hgx.instead of nwmain.exe) could be added. I looked at the source, but that language looks really strange even if you're familiar with countless other languages. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong then, cause when I start hgx after I am already running an instance started by arf2, it just starts another instance.

I have been looking over things in both programs, and I'm kinda stumped, cause I don't understand half of what im looking at , But I don't understand why my hgx isn't working like discribed here: I'm sure it could be added. I looked at the source, but that language looks really strange even if you're familiar with countless other languages. Keep in mind you can start HGX *after* starting NWN and it will still work. HGX checks if NWN is running and uses that instance if it is or starts NWN if is isn't running already. Can anyone help me figure this out?
